BRSCC at Snetterton – a learning experience!

The BRSCC racing at Snetterton has been described by Matt and his team as a ‘learning experience’. As a new driver to the track, the qualifying times were good. However, the three races didn’t place Matt in the top half of the results. Here’s an official photo of the young driver from the beginning of the season, as well as couple of actions shots from 14th and 15th April at the Snetterton Circuit in Norwich, Norfolk.

The above photos were captured by Jonathan Elsey Motorsport. Over this weekend of racing earlier this month, there were a few challenges with the car. The most pressing for us at Car Magic was the damage caused by a clip from behind in Race 1. This bump resulted in a spin and some unavoidable damage – even though Matt recovered well. If you’ve watched the video of the spin in Race 1 you’ll understand these next photos! We’ll be tackling these repairs and the new look ‘Car Magic’ makeover for this MX-5 at the same time. The next racing weekend for Matt and the team at AB Motorsport is not until the 2nd and 3rd of  June at Cadwell Park so we’ve got a few weeks to get this right. We will be sure to keep you updated with our progress!
